The chalet itself is really well-placed for the snow, right in the best vantage point of the three valleys. A 3-minute yomp on the flat gets you to the Mottaret lift area where you have the choice of North. South, East or West across the three valleys. It goes without saying that the ski areas themselves are amongst the best in the world.Gregor J (Trip Advisor, April 2017, Chalet Clementine)
last minute booking really lucky for us!marionleeper (Trip Advisor, April 2017, Chalet Clementine)
Chalet: comfortable and stylish. View: Mont Vallon at sunset. Food: AMAZING really carefully thought out, a different cuisine every night. Hosts: really friendly and helpful (also made good cocktails). Organising the holiday: through Mike - couldn't have been easier, very friendly and knowledgeable. Made me realise you should always book a skiing holiday through someone who loves skiing
A fabulous chaletLizzyStanley (Trip Advisor, April 2017, Chalet Clementine)
Cooking was top notch - fantastic continental and cooked breakfasts to really set us up for the day, afternoon tea (which did not help my waistline!), cocktails and canapés (my favourite time of the day!) and then a delicious 3 course meal all washed down with excellent house white and red.
FANTASTICcarolinelucymcmillan (Trip Advisor, March 2017, Chalet Clementine)
From the booking process through to the end of the trip everything was fantastic.
The best bit of the chalet experience was our wonderful hosts, James and Claire. They worked so hard just to make sure we had the best experience possible. They were so friendly, and kind. They answered all our questions with a smile, and their cooking was absolutely delicious. I don't think you could get better hosts!
Lovely chalet in an ideal locationPhilippa s (Trip Advisor, March 2017, Chalet Clementine)
Mike, the company owner, was very helpful, organising ski passes, and recommending ski hire from Slide Candy, who come to the chalet and fit the equipment - all very easy. Lovely chalet, with handy parking, very convenient for the lifts, restaurants and bars of Meribel Mottaret, and access to some fantastic skiing.
Would highly recommend this chalet and Ski Vive.
Great food, hosts and customer service. Warm roomy lounge and dinning area, nicely furnished and decorated. Ski Vive recommended Slide Candy for ski hire who were great also as they delivered to the chalet, ensure fitting is correct and picked up at the end.Christopher O (Trip Advisor, March 2017, Chalet Clementine)
When the prospect of cake tempts you back early from the skiing, you know you've found a good one. Claire and James were terrific hosts who produced a range of culinary treats all week worthy of the best restaurants in Mottaret. Equally important - the red wine was a couple of notches up from what one would expect in a chalet.Philip W (Trip Advisor, March 2017, Chalet Clementine)
Excellent Chalet close to the slopes with Superb HostsTim J (Trip Advisor, February 2017, Chalet Clementine)
This is a really comfortable chalet with excellent location in Mottaret ideal for the slopes. Free car Parking is available just outside the front door for those who drive to the Alps and only a short (100m) walk across the car park for the local bus services and the airport transfer bus service.(Altibus) James and Claire where the perfect hosts and nothing was ever a problem. Their food was absolutely delicious and the Ski Vive (drink as much as you like) chalet wine was up with the very best. Cannot be faulted.
Chalet Clementine is the best chalet we have stayed in over many years of skiing holidays. The enthusiastic chalet hosts, James and Claire, gave us a great welcome, with fantastic cordon bleu food, and genuinely couldn't do enough for us during our stay. The chalet's open plan layout works really well and we enjoyed being able to chat to our hosts as they prepared our meals. Good location,a short walk to lifts and in a quiet scenic part of Mottaret.Elspeth M (Trip Advisor, February 2017, Chalet Clementine)
A Fabulous New Year in MottaretLTANugent (Trip Advisor, January 2017, Chalet Clementine)
It was great from start to finish. James and Claire were perfect hosts, brilliant cooks and extremely helpful about where the best pistes were, instructors and any other information we needed about the resort. The chalet was nicely decorated and furnished and well laid out with just the right amount of space for everyone. We were given cocktails and canapés every evening around the fire before dinner and everything together made it a real holiday. Mike and Ali who run ski vive were also very helpful especially about ski hire, transfers and anything we need to know to make our holiday run smoothly.
PERFECT CHALET FOR PRE-CHRISTMAS SKI TRIP WITH FRIENDSKatherine T (Trip Advisor, January 2017, Chalet Clementine)
We are two families with teenage children and the layout of the chalet worked perfectly giving everyone there own space where required.
The food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble, one or two fussy eaters were happily accommodated, so nice to arrive back from the slopes to cake and the fire lit This was then followed up with cocktails and canapes before a delicious three course dinner with good quality wine.
Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.
A true Christmas CrackerTheaCaramello (Trip Advisor, December 2016, Chalet Clementine)
The food was unbelievably good, the wine was far better than previous chalets I've stayed at, and the ambience at the chalet worked for my three year old nephew, his 60-something grandfather and for everyone in between.
Mike and Ali at Ski Vive are very hands on and food is definitely a key part of the service with this company- I never realised how good it was to have excellent food at the end of each day!
Highly recommend Ski Vive. Highly recommend Chalet Clementine.
Perfect family Christmas at Chalet Clementine, Mottaret, December 2016Jane S (Trip Advisor, December 2016, Chalet Clementine)
Our hosts, Claire and James, were fantastic. The food was absolutely superb but most of all they anticipated what we might need before we did! The meal times were flexible which was great particularly with two young children. They were lovely with the children, one early morning our granddaughter was helping to make chocolate chip cookies with Claire! The chalet layout was perfect for our group with space to relax by the open fire and play games.
