Our group just enjoyed a wonderful weeks skiing at this fantastic Chalet. The Chalet was very comfortable, clean and in a great location. The Chalet hosts (Lee and Lou) were excellent. The food (breakfast and 4 course evening meal) was to a very high standard, better than all previous ski holidays I have been on.
I would thoroughly recommend to anyone to book a stay here.
Fantastic ski holiday!Harrisonprobert (Trip Advisor, March 2017, Chalet La Fugue)
Chalet La Fugue is fantastic, with lovely rooms, views and location. Mike and Ali at Ski Vive make the booking process very easy and were very helpful and always on hand throughout the trip. Lee and Louise (our chalet hosts) were lovely and we got on very well with them - the service was excellent and the food even better and everyones' individual needs were accommodated.
We went as a group of 11, with 3 couples and friends and the chalet/rooms were perfectly sized. The chalet is just across the Piste from the tourism centre so very easy to get to town and to/from transfers (and the hosts have a large sled to take bags across). You can ski right out of the chalet from the bottom off the steps and ski back to the end of the path which is just a short walk, and is just a couple of slopes down from Le Rond Point which is a great place for drinks and music after a days skiing. Also, Meribel is an ideal central location for exploring all of the 3 valleys.Harrisonprobert (Trip Advisor, March 2017, Chalet La Fugue)
Cannot fault this holiday and would recommend to anyone.
Chalet La Fugue is a fantastic place to stay. Don't be put off by a short walk from the road, your hosts will meet you and help to take your things across the piste.MikeL (Trip Advisor, March 2017, Chalet La Fugue)
The Chalet was clean and the food amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, Lee and Lou - arriving after 10pm due to traffic we were warmly welcomed and fed a lovely meal.
The house wine is very good, although if you really enjoy your wine do try some of the specially selected bottles you can buy from the hosts.
Ski Vive's owners are also great to deal with. Very helpful advising on transfers as well as the best places to ski and eat. All in all a great trip and I'm sure I'll stay here again next year
I cannot fault the chalet hosts Lou and Lee who where so warm and friendly and made huge efforts to prepare gluten free and dairy free cakes and meals for me, in addition to catering for everyone else. Excellent communication with the management in advance to ensure this. Warm, sheltered and peaceful chalet with large open fireplace and sunny balcony with amazing views. Thanks for giving us a great chalet experience.spicescience (Trip Advisor, March 2017, Chalet La Fugue)
Amazing food and loads of it. The house wine (both red and white) is fab. Enjoyed sitting in front of the open fire, and also on the balcony soaking up the amazing views.leerogers (Trip Advisor, February 2017, Chalet La Fugue)
The hosts Lee and Lou were very good, easily accommodating our varied demands and seemed to complement each other well.
Another great trip with Ski ViveChris S (Trip Advisor, February 2017, Chalet La Fugue)
We came back this year. It's still great. Excellent food and wine again, and friendly chalet hosts. You can ski from the bottom of the staircase to the Chaudanne and it's not far back from the Rond-Point after apres-ski drinks.

Thanks to the staff and management of Chalet La Fugue and Ski Vive for organizing a great stay in Méribel this year. Almost too much great food ! Delicious tea cakes and breakfasts, fun and warm staff always ready to assist with our needs and reservations. Wonderful fireplace too.
Christmas in Meribelamcunderwood (Trip Advisor, January 2017, Chalet La Fugue)
Delightful Chalet situated just above the town centre.
We are seasoned Meribel skiers and have been coming there for over 25 years.
The management by Mike and Ali was excellent, nothing too much trouble and little things like having your skis and boots waiting for you in the chalet plus your lift pass makes such a difference.
Great "Proper" Old Fashioned Chalet a stone's throw from the pisteLondon (Trip Advisor, January 2017, Chalet La Fugue)
Brilliant chalet experience, with wonderful food prepared by Jackie and Zaneta.
Access to the town centre is via a short path to the piste at the top of the escalators to the tourist office. The chalet has its main living area on the central floor, with a fabulous sunny balcony with great views across the valley; bedrooms are on either the top floor or the entrance level - so good for a split group.
